Framed Chinese Paper Cutting

Mr Chan Wai, the artist who worked with us on the HK skyline has been paper-cutting for over 50 years. When we first met, he brought us into this little back room just packed from floor to ceiling with incredible, intricate paper cuttings that he had done over the years. It is his love and passion for such an ancient art that made us insist it was him that would work on this project with us.
Mr Chan hand cuts each HK skyline personally and each cutting can be done in one of our many colours on offer.
Traditional Chinese paper-cutting is one of the oldest and most elaborate arts. Paper-cutting in China has existed since at least the 6th Century AD and is in fact listed in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists.

Note: Due to the fact that each of our HK Skyline paper cuttings are individually hand cut and framed, there may be some slight variations.
