Earings Japanese inspiration IV

o weave the strands of precious metal into the fabric takes patience, steady hands and perseverance. A fine design can take years to plan, implement and achieve but this did not deter the makers of this fabric as they performed their magic and made whole cloth from threads. In the end, a beautiful piece of work, woven together and looking effortless. 

These earrings are made from vintage Japanese obi belts that have been upcycled and placed under the protective layer of the resin out their best colour and shine. They are 12 mm across and hang 15.5 mm from the top.  The findings are made from nickel plated silver.
